SONTYGER was established as a guest house in 1995 and is managed by the current owners, your hosts, for more than 2 years now.

SONTYGER offers travellers a number of features to make their stay as convenient and enjoyable as possible.

Sontyger Guesthouse is centrally located in the northern suburbs of Cape Town, convenient walking distance to the upmarket Tygervalley shopping centre and a short drive from the Cape Winelands, Ratanga Junction, Century City and some of the finest beaches and golf courses in the world.

Easy access to main routes and less than 30 minutes drive by car to the best attractions the Cape has to offer.

At Sontyger you will experience true 'home from home' hospitality while our famous breakfasts keep satisfied visitors returning. Breakfast is served in the comfortable dining room or you may spend the evening relaxing in the luxuriously appointed living area.

There is a rustic braai (barbeque) room for the use of guests who prefer to do it themselves.

At the end of a busy day or after an evening out in the beautiful Cape Town or its surrounding areas our home will be a welcome place to put your feet up and wind down with a night cap.

We offer facilities for guests to hold small business meetings (up to seven people) and cater if pre-arranged.

There is a pool to cool off in on those really hot summer days.

Although crime is a worldwide problem, SONTYGER is a secure property with parking and could be considered to be in a relatively crime free zone.

Single room: R460.00 Double room: R680.00 Twin Room per person: R340.00 Family Room Double+2 kids U12 (per room): R700.00 +R90 per kid older than 12years (max 3 kids) Two self-catering rooms: P.O.A.

All prices quoted include breakfast, parking and VAT. Airport Shuttle: R200 per trip.
