Honeymoon

Ellerman House is the ideal location for luxury honeymoon accommodation in Cape Town. Honeymoon couples experience bespoke honeymoons on their private balconies overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

Superior Suites and Luxury Rooms are pure honeymoon heaven where each one has its own special charm. With large and private balconies and awe-inspiring sea views, privacy and romance are a given.

Under shady umbrellas, leafy trees or a deep blue starry night sky, newly weds can indulge in superb cuisine and wine in a romantic spot on the outdoor terrace.

Accommodation at Ellerman House consists of luxury rooms, suites and Spa rooms. These vary in size, style and décor but all have under floor heating, air conditioning, satellite flat screen television sets and internet connections, as well as the finest beds and bed linen. Bathrooms are equipped with heated towel rails and de luxe toiletries.

Room One

Room One is sea-facing and spacious. Originally Lady Ellerman's bedroom, it is freshly decorated in shades of green and cream and has broad vistas of the Atlantic Ocean. The deck loungers outside on the balcony complement the look and feel of the interior.

Room Two

Room Two is sea-facing, offering magnificent ocean views from the bed. Decorated in subtle tones of aquamarine, beige and oyster, it has a large marble bathroom and a balcony with ample space for private al fresco dinners.

Room Three

Room Three is the bijou room, with a bay window providing an excellent view of the rocky coastline below. The interior decor features vanilla and biscuit coloured fabrics while the en-suite bathroom is finished in tones of salmon and cream marble.

Room Four

Room Four is a generously proportioned ocean-facing room that opens out through two sets of double doors onto the largest private patio Ellerman House has to offer. Ideally suited for honeymooners, the bedroom and sitting area is appointed in soft mauve, reflecting the romantic shades of a Cape twilight. A dramatic black slate bathroom includes a circular window to frame the sea view.

Room Five

Room Five offers ample interior space and soothing views of the natural rock and water garden. Neatly decorated in aquamarine and touches of beige and white, it has a cream marble bathroom and a secluded private balcony.

Room Six

Room Six is one of the original rooms, located at the rear of the House, and is not sea-facing. It is elegantly decorated in soft greens with a bathroom finished in grey and salmon marble.

Suite Seven

Room Seven is the Ellerman Suite, originally Lady Ellerman�s art studio, consisting of a bedroom and dressing room and, a separate sitting room and study. The bedroom d�cor combines soothing celadon green tones with a white and grey marble bathroom. The sitting room is decorated in contemporary aquamarine and white, with art and sculpture by leading South African artists. The balcony, which is accessible from both the sitting room and bedroom, offers sweeping views of the city and ocean from its elevated position in the eaves of the roof.

Room Eight

Room Eight offers picturesque views of the garden and ocean. Possibly one of the prettiest rooms, it is elegantly coloured in soft rose and oatmeal. It has an intimate private balcony and marble bathroom with tranquil decor.

Room Nine

Room Nine is a split-level room with a nautical theme, decorated in navy blue and ivory with a marble bathroom in white and cream. Its private balcony overlooks the garden and offers panoramic ocean views.

Room Ten

Room Ten is a split-level room including a bedroom, seating area and balcony all with imposing views of the ocean, garden and pool. Finished in garden green and soothing shades of natural linen, its recently renovated bathroom is streamlined in 'cafe au lait' colouring.

East Wing Suite 11

Room Eleven is the East Wing Suite. Distinguished by a large wraparound balcony with private access to the garden and pool, it has a raised bedroom area that can be closed off for complete privacy. The lounge is decorated in caramel with lustrous gold and rich ivory silk taffetas, while the bedroom has gold and soft blue accents and, a cream marble bathroom with brass fittings. The elegant dining area has a table that seats eight for private dining or executive meetings.

Spa Pool Room

Spa Pool Room has a wooden deck alongside the infinity pool, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The d�cor is modern with minimalist furniture in coppery tones. The en-suite bathroom is finished in granite and earthy mosaics.

Spa Deck Room

Spa Deck Room is a large, contemporary design sea-facing room with low contrast earthy tones. Beautifully crafted beechwood complements the modern bathroom, which is a fusion of glass and granite.
